Privacy Policy — CRM Customizer Translation
Published by Cerebrum Technology Limited · Effective 11 September 2026
CRM Customizer Translation (the “Extension”) is a companion to the Customizer white-label application for agencies. Its single purpose is to translate the builder frames of the CRM (workflow, funnel, email, form and course builders) into the language the agency selected in Customizer. This policy explains what the Extension reads, what it sends, and what it never touches.
1. What the Extension reads
| Data | Where from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Sub-account identifier | The page URL (/v2/location/<id>/) | To look up the language the agency saved for that sub-account. |
| Agency identifier and display name | The CRM page’s own AppUtils.Utilities.getCompany() | To look up the agency’s saved configuration and show the agency name in the popup. |
| Visible interface text of builder frames | Labels, buttons, headings, tooltips and placeholders inside the builder frames | To replace them with translated text. |
2. What the Extension sends, and to whom
The Extension communicates with exactly one service: the Customizer API at https://api.cerebrumapps.com, operated by Cerebrum Technology Limited. It sends:
- the agency and sub-account identifiers, to fetch the saved language configuration and translation dictionaries;
- visible interface text of the builder frames, only when the agency has enabled “Advanced Translation” in Customizer, so that it can be machine-translated. Translated strings are cached on the Customizer service so the same label is not translated twice.
Requests are sent without cookies or credentials. No data is sent to any other party, no analytics or tracking is included, and no data is sold.
3. What the Extension never reads or sends
- Form input, text editors, message composers or anything the user types
- Contact records, conversations, emails, payments or any customer data shown in the CRM
- Passwords, session cookies, tokens or any credential
- Browsing history or activity on sites other than the CRM
- The main CRM dashboard — the Extension only acts inside builder frames
4. When the Extension is active
The Extension does nothing until the user turns its switch on in the popup. While the switch is off it makes no network requests and changes no page. On agencies’ own white-label domains the Extension only runs after the user explicitly allows that site from the popup.
5. Data stored on your device
The on/off switch and the API address are stored in Chrome’s extension storage on your device. Translation dictionaries are cached for the browser session only. Nothing is stored about the pages you visit.
6. Retention on the Customizer service
Interface strings sent for Advanced Translation are stored, together with their translation, as a shared translation cache keyed by the agency, so that repeated labels are served from cache. They contain no personal data by design (only the CRM’s own interface text). Agencies can request deletion of their cache through Customizer support.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date, and the Extension’s store listing is updated.
